For World Oceans Week, we've partnered up with sponsor and legacy outdoors equipment company Fjällräven for a special edition Kånken Art backpack, with a mission to keep plastics out of the oceans. Piece by piece.

Available in Ocean Deep and Ocean Surface color palettes, this unique design was developed by Swedish illustrator and animator Linn Fritz, with an aim to raise awareness about plastic waste and the health of our oceans. This special edition fabric consists of Fjällräven’s G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco, which is made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. Further, each Kånken Art backpack features a special edition Explorers Club World Oceans Week "Compass Wave" Pin, enamel on gold plating.

About 71% of the earth ́s surface is covered by oceans. They produce over half of the oxygen on our planet and are home to over one million species of animals and even more plants.
