A century ago, in May 1926, a groundbreaking international expedition successfully accomplished the first fully documented flight to the North Pole with the airship N1 “Norge”.
The mission was led by the renowned explorers Roald Amundsen, Umberto Nobile, and Lincoln Ellsworth, and was supported by a courageous crew of aeronauts from Norway, Italy, the United States, and Sweden.
This historic endeavor marked the first international expedition to reach the last white spot on the map of the world. Join Max Pinnuci at Explorers Club Headquarters on May 26th to learn about this groundbreaking expedition.
