Provenance
The legendary Explorers Club — which counts Rowing Blazers founder and creative director Jack Carlson among its esteemed membership — has been championing scientific discovery and global fellowship since its founding in New York City over a century ago. The club is perhaps best known for its “Famous Firsts,” a series of era-defining feats: members were the first to visit the North Pole (1909), the South Pole (1911), the summit of Mount Everest (1953), the Mariana Trench (1960), and the surface of the moon (1969).
