A lightweight wool hoodie that works as a first layer in almost any climate. The soft jersey knit blends ZQ merino wool with polyester, so you get the natural temperature regulation and odor resistance of wool along with the strength and quick drying of a synthetic. It is just as useful on a cold-morning summit push as it is on a long flight.
Long sleeves with thumbholes and a fixed hood add sun and wind protection, and the shoulder seams are set back so pack straps don't rub.
