Get ready for the coolest adventure with Britney Schmidt! Astrobiologist, Polar Oceanographer, Ice Expert, and EC50 Class of 2024 honoree Britney Schmidt will find out what it takes to explore Earth’s coldest waters, how we study the icy oceans, and how we can apply that technology to potentially find life on other planets. In this hands-on session, Britney Schmidt will answer questions, ignite Cubs’ curiosity, and expand Cubs’ understanding of the world around – and beyond! – us.

Through fun and interactive sessions with field explorers, the Explorer Cubs Program aims to foster future citizens of the planet and strengthen the relationships between Explorers Club members, the community, and the next generation of change makers.
