Join The Explorers Club on Monday, February 26th and trek into one of the most hostile environments on Earth with conservationist Billy Creech.

An evening with explorer Billy Creech recounting his TEC Flag and Rolex Watch Expedition to remap the Old Traction Road. This 120 year old historic mining route encroaches into a sensitive habitat, home to 13 threatened and endangered species. It traverses 125 miles of some of the most rugged and remote desert terrain in one of the most hostile environments on Earth. The expedition’s purpose: remap the route into one that provides a compliant path for backcountry explorers and field scientists to access the area, search for undocumented cultural sites and check for endangered and threatened species. The OTR Expedition is an example of collaborative conservation and preservation to achieve perpetual results.

In-person tickets are $15 for Members, and $30 for the General Public.
Check-in will begin at 6:00 pm, with a beer and wine reception from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
