Join the Explorers Club and Wildlife SOS for a look into past and ongoing efforts to preserve India’s threatened wildlife.

Wildlife SOS is widely recognized for one of India’s most remarkable conservation successes—the eradication of the cruel practice of dancing bears. Building on this achievement, the organization is applying its expertise to tackle other pressing wildlife conservation challenges in India, including the protection of Asian elephants.

Asian elephants are an endangered species, with fewer than 40,000 individuals remaining worldwide. Over 60% of this population is found in India, making the country critical to the species’ long-term survival. Indian elephant populations face significant threats, including habitat fragmentation, human-wildlife conflict, and the ongoing demand for elephants in captivity. Wildlife SOS is working to both improve the welfare of captive elephants as well as implementing creative strategies to protect them in the wild.

Kartick Satyanarayan, Wildlife SOS co-founder, and one of the world’s most notable wildlife warriors, will be telling stories from his experiences in the field to conserve and protect India’s wildlife.

In-person tickets are $20 for Members, and $35 for the General Public.
Check-in will begin at 6:00 pm, with a beer and wine reception from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
