Join the Explorers Club, on Monday, June 9th, for a special screening of The Voice of the Hudson.

The Voice of the Hudson follows eight teenage boys on a 15-day, 375-mile, self-powered journey from the source of the Hudson River in the Adirondacks to its mouth near New York City. Along the way, these young adventurers conducted a comprehensive water quality study, documenting the river’s health and the ecological challenges it faces. From hiking over Mount Marcy to paddling and biking downstream, their expedition blends adventure, science, and self-discovery.

The film captures this project-based learning expedition’s physical and emotional hurdles as the boys navigate from pristine wilderness to the dense urban landscape of the New York/New Jersey megalopolis. Rich cinematography and personal reflections give voice to the next generation of environmental stewards while highlighting the growing issue of microplastics in the Hudson River.

In-person tickets are $20 for Members, and $35 for the General Public.
Check-in will begin at 6:00 pm, with a beer and wine reception from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
